ELEMENTAL Wellness Retreat

A Journey Through Earth, Water, Air, Fire & Spirit

Retreat Details

Lake Atitlán, Guatemala | November 23 -28, 2026

Join Katy Joe, Chrissie, and Eric for a transformational six-day immersion on the mystical shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. Rooted in the wisdom of the five elements—Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Spirit—this retreat invites you into a deeper relationship with yourself, the natural world, and the unseen forces that shape your life. Unlike traditional wellness retreats, this experience blends trauma-informed therapeutic principles, yoga, meditation, ritual practice, and embodied exploration. Guided by experienced facilitators with backgrounds in mental health, yoga, mindfulness, and spiritual practice, participants will engage in carefully curated experiences designed to support reflection, healing, connection, and personal transformation.

Your Itinerary

Each day is devoted to a different element, exploring its teachings through movement, meditation, ritual, nature immersion, creative expression, and community. Together we will ground into the stability of Earth, flow with the wisdom of Water, open to the inspiration of Air, awaken the transformative power of Fire, and reconnect with the unifying essence of Spirit. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Atitlán—long considered one of the most energetically vibrant places on Earth—you'll spend your days immersed in nature, nourishing your body with wholesome food, connecting with like-minded seekers, and stepping away from the demands of everyday life. Whether you are seeking clarity, renewal, healing, inspiration, or simply a deeper connection with yourself, this retreat offers a sacred container for meaningful growth and transformation. You will return home grounded in your body, clear in your mind, open in your heart, and connected to the elemental forces that live within and around you.

Tznuna, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala

Tznuna is Kaqchikel for “hummingbird of the water,” or as it’s locally known - “hummingbird valley.” A small town nestled between some of the busier lake villages, the mostly indigenous community of Tznuna offers a chance to slow down and to learn from the land. A river flows year-round here, descending from waterfalls higher in the valley, and local trails weave the hillsides, allowing hiking and gorgeous views of the valley and the lake. A hidden gem, offering tranquility, natural beauty, and several interesting spaces for dance, permaculture, and herbalism, Tznuna holds a very special place in your guides’ hearts.
